You might have seen coverage on the news yesterday about a car that hit a tree on Oak street and caught on fire, catching the building next to it on fire. My friend Kristen lives in an apartment in that building. Luckily she left right before the incident, and returned 2 hours later and amazing firemen found her cat hiding in the building and brought her out to her. They are ok, but every possession Kristen had is destroyed. She had recently moved here from out of state and built her life up from scratch, and now it’s all gone. I created this to help her start over again. Suggestions on resources besides the Red Cross are appreciated, as is any kind of emotional or tangible support that you would like to contribute.
