Help Kristen during treatment

Dear friends, family, and compassionate individuals,
As some of you may know Kristen Duren, owner of The Cake Shoppe, was in a terrible accident 1/21/24. Her and two other family members were in a head on collision where the other driver was found at fault. Once the initial hit from the other driver happened her car then spun out until it hit the East Street Eatery sign causing more damage to herself and the car.
We are grateful that it wasn’t fatal, but unfortunately, the accident has left her with a fractured back, two hand fractures, and multiple bumps and bruises, making her unable to work until she is cleared by the doctors.
If you know our mom you know she has the biggest heart and would give anyone the shirt off of her back but when it comes to asking for help she can be as stubborn as a mule. This unexpected accident has put a tremendous strain on her physically, emotionally, and financially. The burden of paying rent, utilities, medical expenses, groceries, daily expenses and other financial obligations has become overwhelming for her while not being able to work.
With great concern for our mother's recovery and stability, we have created this GoFundMe campaign with the hope of bringing some relief during this difficult period. We firmly believe that by coming together as a supportive community, we can alleviate the stress associated with her financial obligations and assist her in focusing on her recovery.
The funds raised through this campaign will be exclusively dedicated to helping our mom meet her monthly bills such as rent, utilities, medical expenses, groceries, transportation, and other essential living costs during her absence from work. Our ultimate goal is to ensure her peace of mind while she concentrates on rehabilitation.
For those who may not be able to contribute financially, please know that your kind thoughts, prayers, and messages of encouragement mean the world to us. Sharing this campaign with your own network would also greatly assist our efforts to reach a wider audience.
We wholeheartedly thank you, in advance, for your support and generosity. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will make an immense difference in our mother's life. Let's come together as a community and show her the love and support she truly deserves during this challenging time.
Thank you for being a source of hope, strength, and stability for our family.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Morgan, Elizabeth, Kimberlee, and Samantha
