Kristi Lyn Foundation
Donation protected
We are inspired by Kristi's life, which was marked by her unwavering support, deep compassion, and the strength she showed in the face of adversity. Our foundation is a continuation of her spirit, striving to uphold the values she embodied. Recognizing the multifaceted challenges families face during cancer journeys, we aim to fill the gaps in support - whether it's informational, emotional, or financial. We believe that no family should navigate this path alone.
We are asking for donations for the Kristi Lyn Foundation, as we are still in the process of getting this started all donations made to this go fund me will be directly sent to the foundation. We would only ask for you to donate what you feel comfortable with.
In loving memory of Kristi Lyn Falco, aged 64, born in 1959, a cherished beacon of light in our lives. Kristi passed away surrounded by the love of her family, leaving a legacy of unwavering support and profound love.
Born in Wenatchee, WA, to Duane and Janet Bolinger, Kristi grew up alongside her siblings, Kim and Jon, in a home filled with love, warmth, and laughter. At the age of 14, her family moved to Spokane, WA, where she found her life's partner in Louie Falco during high school. What attracted Louie to her was her ability to be classy and timeless, as well as a fierce athlete on the softball field. They were married for 45 years, and together they ran a successful business and raised three incredible children - Grant, Tyler, and Kolby. Louie was the face of Falco's, but he will tell you the success was due to Kristi staying up late at night and early in the morning, making sure they had enough money to keep the business running. He will also tell you that, even though she was an incredible business woman, Kristi's role as a mother was her crowning glory. Her love and wisdom echo in the lives of her children and grandchildren: Louis, Theodore, Ava, Banks, Grey, and Louise.
Kristi was your typical lake mom, her spirit as vast and embracing as the waters she loved. She was a pillar on the soccer fields in the 90s and early 2000s, cheering and supporting with a passion that was both tender and fierce. Her ability to affirm in every conversation, to be present for so many, and yet to encourage independence and understand that she had to let go sometimes, was a rare gift. Friends and family often remarked on her unparalleled welcoming nature, saying she was as nurturing and accepting as one could imagine.
Her love was sacrificial, a testament to her strength and depth. Kristi may not have been overtly religious, but in her, we saw a reflection of the purest love, reminiscent of the selflessness of Jesus. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her spirit, teachings, and love will forever guide us.
Kristi, you were more than just our mom, wife, daughter, sister, and friend; you were our angel in disguise, guiding us with an invisible hand and an unbreakable spirit. Your legacy will continue in the stories we share, the lessons you've taught us, and the love we carry forward.
The Celebration of Life will be held at One Church, 15601 E. 24th, Spokane Valley, WA on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 2pm. Kristi's online memorial page can be found at www.holycrossofspokane.org
