Kristie Crowder

We all have a friend who we call when we've had a bad day, need a laugh, or a shoulder to cry on - someone so incredibly selfless and loyal they put themselves last to ensure that everyone else's needs are met before their own. To everyone that knew her, that person was Kristie. Kristie was unfortunately taken from those that love her too soon on January 6th.

In true selfless Kristie fashion, she had chosen to donate her organs as well as other parts of herself to be used in medical research to help the lives of countless others. In the words of her father, "Just know that if you are helped by my beautiful daughter you will get: a heart full of love, eyes that see the best of everyone, and lungs that breathe in the air of freedom and adventure".

As anyone who has experienced a great loss knows, the weeks and months that follow are filled with reliving happy moments, waves of sadness, settling of affairs, and the financial obligations that come along with that. We are organizing this GoFundMe in an effort to ease some of the burdens of medical expenses, funeral costs, and care of her pets and her beloved home in NoDa that she was so incredibly proud of.
