Kristin/Peter Malibu/Woolsey Fire

From Kristin and Peter:

Dear Our Beloved Friends and Family,

We cannot tell you how important and uplifting your concern for us has been at this time during these fires.  Thank you for checking in on us, for your prayers, and for your love.  It is sustaining us. 

Our neighbor stayed to fight the flames and did save his own house.  He has reported to us, though, that our house has been burned to ashes.  We are still not allowed in to the area to find out more details than that.  

Of course we have our lives and our kitties, and are truly grateful for that.   We are, though, dealing with our dream home being gone, along with the loss of all of our gardens and friends from nature, the van, as well as everything we owned in the world.   Stuff can be replaced, and our dreams can be rebuilt, and we will do that.  God has always blessed us and we expect nothing to be different here.  

So mostly: thank you for being there for us.  As we sort through next steps we will surely reach out for help as needed, though at times it may be hard for us to even know what we need. Thank you for your continued love and support.
