Kristin Brown COVID Hospital Relief
On 10/16/20, Kristin Brown was diagnosed with COVID-19 as well as double pneumonia. Her doctor sent her to Hillcrest South where she stayed 12 days on the ICU floor. She spent another 8 days at a rehabilitation facility to allow her lungs to heal. She was released with a home health nurse scheduled to make visits.
Unfortunately, she was not getting any better, and on 12/4/20 she was readmitted to the hospital. She has just been diagnosed with Influenza A and Klebsiella Pneumoniae. As of Sunday, 12/6/20, she is on day 51 of fighting this, and the medical bills continue to grow.
No amount of planning can prepare a family to deal with something like this. Any amount you feel moved to donate will help pay for the already accrued charges and those that have not yet been added. Kristin is going to be recovering from this for a long time. She is a beloved Broken Arrow teacher and she has been so upset not being able to be with her students or colleagues. Her husband, Jeff, and their boys just want her back home and healthy.
Kristin has never been comfortable asking for help, so I’ve taken it upon myself to do so for her and her family. Any donation that can be gathered will help! Thank you!!
