Kristin Schmolze to recover from TBI injury

My name is Robyn Ford and I’ve set this go fund me account for Kristin while she tries to heal from a very bad brain injury. Here is some of a post she wrote on Facebook.

Last month I sustained 2 very hard blows to my head while hand walking a horse (no helmet) which has left me with a very bad TBI. Needless to say, this is going to be a long slow recovery process for myself.

I have a wonderful team of support and none of the horses have missed any work, but my recovery is going to be so long and slow and I am usually very involved in the day to day activities. Unfortunately, as I’m learning through this process though, the more I try to push to do, the longer this road will take. There is just no way we can sustain at this pace without adding some reliable and experienced help for all of us. I have wonderful friends, family and team members that are going above and beyond helping me through this. Not to mention the most amazing clients. But there needs to be more help.

That being said, this go fund me is to help provide for the business and to support the extra help needed right now.

This is coming from a deeper place within me asking because having to ask for help like this while I am down is a very very hard thing to do. And anyone who knows how hard I work also can imagine how impossible this all feels to me. But I’m learning how TO ASK FOR HELP.
