Kristina Swanson-Johnson Lost her battle To Cancer
Donation protected
Hi everyone, I am trying to help my niece raise funds for her mother, Kristina Brotzman, who lost her long battle against metastatic breast cancer.
Kristina was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006. She had a mastectomy preformed, completed treatment and was told that she was in remission. Fast forward to 2018, Kristina was given the news that the cancer was back. Metastatic breast cancer — it had made to her liver. She proceeded with treatments and was told that the cancer was shrinking. Shortly thereafter, she was told the treatments she was receiving were no longer working and that the cancer was growing again.
Today, September 22nd, cancer won. Kristina fought a long hard battle and did every second of it with a smile on her face. She always remained positive, loved to laugh and absolutely enjoyed every second she had left spending it with her granddaughter Dahlia and daughter Kayla.
Kayla and Dahlia have lived with Kristina through all of it. Unfortunately, Kayla will be left to pay rent alone on top of paying for her mother’s celebration of life. Kristina’s choice was to be cremated. I am making this GoFundMe in the hopes that people will be willing to help with the cremation costs. If you can’t help financially, just sharing the link, this will also help and will be greatly appreciated. Once Kayla figures out the date of services we will share that here along with a link to Kristina’s obituary.
Thank you so much to anyone who donates and shares.
To Kristina — You fought a long hard battle and did it proudly with a big smile on you face a huge heart on your sleeve. We love you so much. May you rest peacefully. Until we meet again — we love you!!
