It’s been a journey, from the such bad diagnosis in December, Kristine has certainly come along way!! Sticking to her guns and getting several opinions, we feel she went with the right one at Cancer Centers of America - City of Hope in Zion.. (Thankfully she didn’t have to travel to far for her treatments) ..
The support has been so wonderful from the WHOLE community! She was able to keep her store open with lots of great people stepping up.. Even though it has been limited hours, she hopes to get back on her feel and get back at it.. The donations this far have been very very helpful in filling in the gaps both personally and keeping the store open! She didn’t realized how many people have LOVED it so much over the past 17 years.and want to help keep it open. Her chemo might be coming to and but her struggles are still here.. from just catching up, medical bills , deductibles etc… it’s been alot!
Most importantly we have to make sure Kristine doesn’t overdue and can gets the help she needs at the store and take care of. the back pay of financials so she doesn’t encounter any unnecessary stress . Every single penny has gone to good a god cause & she is very appreciative.
Shelly from Allure Boutique & Salon in town approached her and said “You need Help!l and planned a benefit in her honor.. it’s amazing how the town town stepped up and donated gift baskets, gifts certificates, and much more. This Thursday 5/23/24 from 5-7pm at Mickey Finns back room. Please stop by and say hi! & show your support! If you can’t come feel free to contribute or just stop by her shop and sign the prayer book! Without the prayers , none of this would have been possible .. thank you again so much! Karen Shull (Kristine’s sister)
