Kristine Quick Gilmour’s Memorial Education Fund

On January 30, 2020 at the young age of 41, Kristine Renee Quick Gilmour lost her battle with breast cancer. Kristine leaves behind Brian, her beloved husband of more than 17 years, and three amazing children: Hunter, a freshman at Harford Tech, Dakota, an eighth grader interested in nursing, and her youngest Dalton, who just turned ten in December.
A number of people have asked about how to best honor Kristine and support the kids. Kristine believed in education in all its forms, formal and otherwise. She always supported her children exploring their hearts and interests whether in a Rec program or through a camp. If you would like to make a donation to a charity or organization in Kristine’s honor, she would have asked that any money go to help her kids’ future needs. 100% of every donation will be used to benefit Brian and Kristine’s children, no amount is too small. Depending on how much money is raised, the money will be placed in either a 529 for college or a more flexible trust for other education enrichment prior to college.
