Support for Kristoff's Therapy and Education

Dear Family and Friends,

We were all shocked and heartbroken by the sudden passing of our beloved, Krystal Harris. She passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024, in Nassau, Bahamas. Krystal was 34 years old.

My name is Hannah Belete and I have put together this GoFundMe. For those who don’t know me, Krystal and I were best of friends, and I also was blessed to be given the role of Kristoff’s God Mother.

Krystal was full of life. She was hardworking, nurturing, fierce, heartfelt, humorous and a blessing to us all. You would often hear her expressing her love for her family and friends, especially her son, Kristoff. She cherished Kristoff, and the two were inseparable.

Shortly after his first birthday, Kristoff was diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder which delayed his speech and walking. Krystal quickly adjusted by learning as much as she could about autism, signing Kristoff up for speech therapy, and teaching him words and sounds. She absolutely adored seeing his progress and loved celebrating him.

Krystal’s passing stunned her family and friends, and left Kristoff bewildered. Unable to express his loss and understand where his Mom had gone, he was seen kissing her photo the week following her passing. As a child with autism, Kristoff will require years of therapy to help him learn to speak, understand his emotions and develop basic life skills, all in the absence of his Mom.

As Kristoff navigates this new confusing world, I humbly ask for you all to consider donating on Krystal's behalf towards Kristoff's future. Any amount helps, as I know she would have wanted Kristoff to have every opportunity available to ensure him of a full and healthy development. These funds will assist in the cost of therapy and education and any other expenses that will assist in Kristoff's future.
