Kristopher& Marcus Darby

Hello, My name is Kayla my fiance is Anthony and we are the parents to 4 beautiful boys. We just recently had twin identical boys on May 23, 2023 at 36 weeks, Marcus Andrew Darby 5lbs8oz and Kristopher DeAndre Darby 5lbs5oz. Both babies have been in the NICU pretty much since they were born due do poor oxygen levels and their lungs not being very well developed. Marcus was doing ok and was going to come home but failed his car seat test almost immediately and turned blue. So he is being monitored for minimum 72 hours. "Update" Marcus is now on oxygen as far as 05-28-2023 and will not be coming home until he is off oxygen as well for 24 hours and passes the car seat test...Kristopher has not been off the breathing machine since he has been in the NICU his lungs aren't strong enough without it. I don't have an exact date they will get to come home, but praying it will be soon... His cardiogram came back normal his heart is just working extra hard to try to support his lungs... We want to purchase set of owlet socks/baby monitor that can keep track of their oxygen levels and heart rate once they are home but are very expensive...so I want to see if I could possibly raise it. The NICU said it's not a bad idea and it will give us a piece of mind. Also just anything extra right now will help, money is really tight as I am not working and not on paid maternity leave so we are relying solely on one income. There are a lot of things we need to do to get our home 100% ready for the twins coming home from the NICU wherever that may be... If you guys could please find it in your hearts anything will help!
