Kristy Bishop's Cancer Fight

Hi, my name is Kellie Hare. I am starting a fundraiser for Kristy Bishop. Kristy was diagnosed in March with stage 3 rectal cancer. She has completed 6 weeks of radiation therapy and is starting very aggressive Chemo treatments starting July 11th that will last 4-6 months to get rid of the tumor. If this isn't successful then the next step is life changing surgery. While speaking with her she said her biggest concern was making sure her son Jackson and husband Jeff are ok. She is concerned about medical bills and the possibility of her not being able to work which would effect their monthly income. I do not want her to focus on financial issues. I need her to focus on her health and fighting this terrible disease.

Kristy is from Olney, TX and a graduate of MSU. She has been an educator for 26 years. She has taught at Huey Elementary, Fain Elementary, and is currently teaching at Holliday Elementary. I was blessed to have her be my teaching buddy for many years at Fain and she even taught my youngest son. Just like with many of her students, Mrs. Bishop was his FAVORITE!

She is too proud to ask for herself, but I love her and need all her energy to go towards this fight! Those who know Kristy love her. She has this magical way of making everyone feel like her best friend. Please consider helping this amazing family.
