Our veterinary hospital team has been deeply moved by the stories of devastation and suffering being experienced by individuals and their pets in Texas and other communities affected by Hurricane Harvey, and the potential for further catastrophe as Hurricane Irma now approaches Florida and surrounding islands.
In order to provide support and relief to those affected, we are holding a fundraiser with donations to be split equally between the American Veterinary Medical Foundation Disaster Relief (http://www.avmf.org)
and the Red Cross (http://www.redcross.org). We are also happy to let you know that Veterinary Study Groups (www.veterinarystudygroups.com), to which our practice is a member, will match our pet donations up to $10,000.
We are also excited to announce that several local businesses have partnered with us to offer a variety of gift certificates, and other gifts so that anyone making a contribution of $20 or more, will be entered to win in a draw to take place October 7, 2017. The businesses that so generously donated to this cause include:
