Hello Family, friends, acquaintances,

I know you have seen posts on social media about some serious things happening in Brendon and Kristina Krug’s life recently. I want to take some time to explain a bit more about the situation and ask for assistance on behalf of these two amazing people.

Last Friday morning, Kristina experienced an unexpected miscarriage early in the morning. The couple was surround by family as they mourned. Kristina’s body is still experiencing the postpartum affects of a miscarriage. There is a high possibility for her to need surgery in the next few days.

Monday morning, Brendon was in a terrible vehicle accident. He was life flighted from one hospital to another due to the severity of his injuries. He is suffering from a C5 & C7 fractures, T7 & T8 fractures, pneumonia, pulmonary contusions, pleural effusions, a grade 3 liver laceration, a maxilla fracture, and an adrenal hematoma. We are so thankful that our dude didn’t need surgery and he can move everything. But the road to recovery is going to be long, hard, and painful. Brendon will have weeks of physical therapy and has to be in a C-Collar and back brace for a minimum of 3 months.

These two were in the process of transitioning their lives back to Michigan to be closer to family and start their search for their forever home. Brendon was to start his new job this week and Kristina is to start her job the middle of June. With all these unforeseen tragedies, many things are being postponed. This leaves these two amazing people without income and good insurance. They are in need of our communities support and love. Anything would help. As their future employers have been wonderful and so helpful during this process, finically there are going to a lot of strains.

There is a phrase that sticks out in my mind when it comes to the trauma this couple has been enduring the last several days: “Bad things happen to good people, why?”. Your prayers and kind words are so appreciated and if you feel lead to donate to help this couple during this time, please do! They need us!
