KryptoKloud ‘Pelathon’ Challenge - Hawker Typhoon
Donation protected
Update:
On behalf of KryptoKloud and the Hawker Typhoon Preservation Group, I am delighted to inform you that the now tired team in Lincoln successfully completed the challenge with just minutes to spare !!
Setting the team off and indeed the pace was Paul Burrows (CEO) and thereafter every 30 minutes, members of the team did their very best to ensure that we remained on target to complete the target of 666 kms (414 miles).
With different ages ranging from 19 to 59, levels of physical stamina that saw distances up to 11.1 miles and a hearty supply of cakes etc left over from Queen's Platinum Jubilee parties, the event was a great successful and to date £615 has been raised.
This 'gofundme' page will be open until 30th June 2022, therefore there is still time to make a donation.
Finally, a massive thank to the team here at KryptoKloud and of course all of you who have so kindly donated. It is really appreciated.

Our Partnership:
We are partnering with the Hawker Typhoon Preservation Group with their aim to restore the Hawker Typhoon RB396 to fly once again.
The Hawker Typhoon Preservation Group (HTPG) is a charitable organisation run entirely by volunteers and exists to raise the funds required to rebuild Hawker Typhoon MkIb, RB396 as the lasting legacy of all those who played a part in the Typhoon’s history deserve.

Resurrecting the Forgotten Legend:
There were over 1200 young men and women who flew the Hawker Typhoon during WWII, 56% (666)of them made the ultimate sacrifice. There is no memorial to these brave young men and women, the thousands of ground crew and support staff who kept the machines operating, nor to those who designed, built, tested and delivered the aircraft. We strongly feel that they deserve one. This memorial will not be carved from stone, or cast in bronze, viewed only by those who make the special journey to see it. This memorial will work, live and breathe. It will fly, and it will be seen by many.
Our Aim:
As a supporter and award winner of the 'Armed Forces Covenant Employee Recognition Scheme' Silver Award with a strong military background and support for all veterans, KryptoKloud collectively aims to cycle 666 Kilometres within 24 hours for each honorary member who was lost piloting these titans of the skies. We aim to raise £6,666 to support the restoration of the Hawker Typhoon RB396.
Any help would greatly be appreciated in supporting us.
Thank you from the KryptoKloud Team.
