Krys Kares - Helping Homeless Pets In Kamloops

Hey guys! I'm Krys and I'm looking to start an organization called Krys Kares here in Kamloops. My mission is to help people in Kamloops who are experiencing homelessness take care of their pets and companion animals. I'm planning on doing outreach within the community to drop off food and supplies for people with pets experiencing homelessness a few times a week. Also, I will be providing pet safety and health information as well as resources for these people who need it.

I'm raising funds to purchase pet food, pet supplies, pet safety items, and some items for the pet owners as well such as blankets, gloves, water, snacks, and other comfort items they may need. I will also be accepting donations of these types of items at 460 Pemberton Terrace, Kamloops.

Kamloops is a wonderful community but there are many people struggling with homelessness in the area. A number of these people have pets they are desperately trying to take care of, along with trying to care for themselves, without many resources available to them. Although the food bank provides pet food, I would like to make pet food and supplies more available to these people by driving to them and delivering the items they need.
