Krystal Jasmine Cain

Krystal and her Dad, Lenny (my brother) were travelling to Agnes Water to celebrate her Pop's birthday on 8th January, 2022, when they were tragically washed away in flooding. For 9 hours they hung onto trees together, praying that someone would rescue them. Lenny was dragged under the water for 1 1/2 minutes, resurfacing to see his youngest child being washed downstream in a torrent of water.

Go forward nearly 3 years and thanks to unsuspecting hunters, Krystal was located on a property not too far from the search zone. We are eternally grateful to them.

Owing to the trauma Lenny has experienced these past years, wondering where his girl is and living experiences no parent should ever go through, he has been unable to work, thus unable to afford a proper funeral for Krystal.
