My cousin who was my sister Krystal Nicole Hernandez was born March 16, 1992 to parents Luz Marina and Rigoberto Hernandez. When she and Krystian were just young children their beloved father, General for the army in Honduras passed away. They then moved to the USA from Honduras. Kimberly is the youngest sibling of three. My cousin Nicole was a Godly, powerful, intelligent, inspiring, fierce, wonderful, demanding young lady. If there was a crown in any room she walked into she would demand her name will be on it one way or another. She was raised in Glendale and attended Hoover High School, ending her senior year, after her family moved to Washington at Everett High School Alumni Class of 2010. Where she would spend the rest of her years succeeding in education. She was a pageant winner in the state of Washington Miss Hispanic Seafair, where she earned a full scholarship to The University of Washington becoming a first generation latina graduate in her immediate family-Alumni Class of 2014. Soon after became the Bilingual Legislative Assistant to Representative Lilian Ortiz-Self at the US House of Representatives in Olympia, WA. She was chosen out to be a world leader, she was set to be an activist latina, she was set to make a difference. Determined would be an understatement. She embodied being kind hearted and being a loving individual. She was raised to inspire many many generations to come in our family. She fought the good fight. A phenomenal queen who leaves behind her legacy. If you were blessed to have met her you knew she was truly an angel on Earth. On 11-13-2022 we lost a daughter, a granddaughter, a sister, a cousin, a niece, a aunt, a friend and an all around beautiful loving soul. It is a tragedy that her life was taken too soon from us she deserved to attain all of her dreams in this life. We call on the Lord to be with us through this devastating time. God is in control and we don’t put a question mark where God puts a period. As this tragedy comes unexpected our family asks that you keep us lifted in continuous prayer, our privacy be respected as we grieve and mourn the loss of our loved one. Our family is United and strong in our faith. The word reads; “Romans 8:18 I consider that our sufferings are not worth comparing with the Glory that will be revealed in us.” Our family will accept donations as a gesture of support as it is not a need but very much appreciated we all would like to leave the opportunity open as she impacted many lives across the world. Just as this sends a shockwave through the communities’ she positively impacted-it leaves our family with a empty hole. No amount of money will fill this type of painful hole but let this gesture be a small understanding of how much she truly loved. The proceedings of this beneficiary will 100% go to my Tia Luz, my baby cousins Krystian & Kimberly. I love you all very much. God have mercy on us, give our family the strength Lord. You’re resting with your dad now I find a bit of peace in the flashes of your smile, tears and crazy laughter of joy to be in his arms.
