Tanzania Volunteering Expedition

I have volunteered to take part in a 4 week expedition with Keswick School, in sub-saharan Africa, in Summer 2019. I will spend 3 weeks working with local communities on projects which will include building, making school furniture, painting classrooms or constructing water tanks.

The cost of the expedition provides funding for the community projects.

The fourth week will include an expedition to climb Mount Meru, a 4562m dormant volcano.

To raise money I’ve organised a race night, taken part in car boot sales, baked cakes and am planning to complete the C2C coast to coast bike ride in May 2018.
