The Sievert Family

On September 16, 2016 the Sievert family not only lost thier beautiful log cabin home that they completely restored with their own hard work, but many of their personal belongings.. Some of which can never be replaced..to a terrible house fire. Knowing the family when they first became owners of the house.. I witnessed both Vince and Karen put literally EVERYTHING they had into this place..time, heart, money & all..to transform it into the welcoming home that it eventually became. Anyone who knows this family personally, knows the backstory..Karen with her deep passion for quilting(hence the fact that 99.9% of the basement was loaded with her equipment and beautiful quilts) and Vince, the handyman, who spent a great amount of time perfecting this home to be exactly what they wanted.. A place to settle down and finally relax after years of hard work for the both of them. Anyone who knows the Sieverts is also aware of just how kindhearted & generous they are..Not only to people whom they already know, but to strangers alike. Families like this are rare and they are truly a blessing.. Anyone can agree. They are wonderful human beings & they deserve to know that they're not alone in this hard time. With that being said, no one ever deserves or expects to have something this devastating happen & my heart absolutely breaks for them. I want to give them both the help they deserve & the help that I am confident they'd give to someone else if the tables were turned.
