Eagle Scout Project

Hi, my name is Mason Wright. I am an Eagle Scout candidate with Troop 7004 in Munhall, PA. Scouting has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have been in Scouts since I was 5 years old. I have met many great friends and mentors through the Scouting program. Scouting has also taught me many things over the years, one of the most important things being service to my community.

To earn the rank of Eagle, a Scout must choose a service project to complete that supports their community. I plan to restore the West Homestead Veterans Monument, which was originally installed in 1990 and honors Veterans from West Homestead who served in Vietnam, Korea, WWI & WWII. These Veterans that are honored through this memorial should be able to look upon this monument with pride. I hope that by restoring this monument, I can show my gratitude for their service to our country.

I am asking for your help to raise funds to support my project. All donations received will go towards the supplies needed to restore the monument, such as paint, concrete repair, cleaning supplies and new plants.
