I want to C-U Stay Warm!

I am raising money for supplies (yarn, crochet hooks, information cards, etc.) to fund my new philanthropy, C-U Stay Warm.  This year I am crocheting scarves and when winter comes around again, I will place the scarves on various statues around Champaign-Urbana.  The purpose of the philanthropy is to help those who are out in the cold (whether they be homeless or are just not dressed warmly for whatever reason) to stay warm.  I will attach a card to each scarf explaining the purpose of the project, which is to use the scarf while they need it, keep it if they don't already have one, or put it back on the statue (or another statue) when they are finished with it.
