Help Grey Raven Ranch Replace Burned Hay
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Kim Campbell. I am raising money to replace the hay for the Ojibwe Horses at Grey Raven Ranch (www.greyravenranch.org). Their hay barn at Seine River First Nation in Ontario was deliberately burned down by unknown parties two weeks ago. The horses are now running out of the little bit of hay that was stored in another building. These horses are part of the very small remaining number of Ojibwe Horses, which are a critically-endangered breed: There are fewer than 200 animals left in the world. In the past, these horses ran free in Northwestern Ontario and northern Minnesota/Wisconsin and also partnered with local bands of Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) in an exchange of winter food and transportation. If you can help, even with a dollar, please do! Without hay this winter, these horses will be starving. As a director of this non-profit, I know that the organization does not have the funds at present to replace the burned hay. All monies collected, other than the GoFundMe fees, will go directly towards purchasing hay.
