Help Becca battle Breast Cancer!
Donation protected
Recently diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, our precious Rebecca is entering the battlefield and preparing for the fight of her life! Although she is leaning strongly on God's mercy and guidance, and trusting him completely during this journey, we know that trusting God can still leave us scared. We can strive to live in His peace, but not all moments of this journey will be peaceful. We know that Rebecca was beautifully and wonderfully created by a God that loves her and knows her every need. There are uncertainties and fears but there is also hope, promise and strength. Rebecca is one of the strongest women we have ever known but now she needs our strength, our prayers, our love and our support as we rally as a body of believers on her behalf. Unfortunately, mediocre insurance will result in medical expenses that are inevitable but uncertain at this time. As you know, Rebecca is a home cleaner/manager for many. Because she is preparing her body for optimal performance she will need to limit her exposure to bacteria and other immune threatening viruses and chemicals which she may encounter in her daily job. At the recommendation of her Oncologist, it would be ideal if she could stay home and focus on her healing and not have to worry about financial obligations for the next several weeks. Although Drayden will continue to work, their immediate income will drastically reduced and with 18 weeks of chemo, even Drayden’s income will be reduced as he takes over with the home and kids. This is a difficult ask for Drayden and Rebecca as they are usually on the giving end and have the biggest giving hearts. They are constantly looking for ways to serve others and as most supermoms, Rebecca rarely takes time for herself. She is always making things for others or giving everything she has to her family. It is very hard for them to accept our help but they are realizing they cannot do this alone. This has all happened so fast and many details are yet to be figured out, but the expenses are coming and they are using up the last of their savings to cover what they can. Please help this beautiful family the best you can. Limited insurance equates to the possibility of having to choose “better” care over “best” care and no one should have to make that choice. We are praying for complete healing for Rebecca in the name of Jesus!
Let's join together and get her the help she needs!!
Per GoFundMe guidelines for legitimacy of this campaign, we need to add the following information: I am Donna Reed, Rebecca and Drayden's close family friend who has organized this GoFundMe on their behalf. I am here in Jacksonville with them and are helping them with raising money to help cover insurance deductibles and monthly expenses that are unpaid due to Rebecca's limited work schedule. The funds from this GoFundMe account are automatically transferred into a specific account we created with Bank of America where myself and the Howell's are co-signers. We created this account to keep the funds separate from their personal accounts so that they can only use this money directly for medical expenses and financial needs they need to meet and track it separately.
