I love Lucy

A group of friends were getting ready to play a game of flag football on a gorgeous January day to celebrate a friend's birthday.  The birthday girl's dog, Lucy, wanted to join the fun and came running towards everyone in the park across the street.  There was a car coming and everyone started yelling at Lucy to stop running or the car to stop driving.  However, everything happened too fast and Lucy was struck by the car. 
She suffered a dislocated hip, a collapsed lung, internal bruisng, and quite a few cuts and scrapes.  Lucy is recovering and is one lucky dog.  However, the vet bills they incurred during this incident are a little more than our friend could handle.  Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
