My name is Marcela Hernandez, and my niece, Karina Hernandez, a 28-year-old healthy female, was a passenger in a vehicle stopped at a red light when it was struck from behind by another vehicle. After medical treatment, she suffered a heart attack and lapsed into a coma on October 14, 2021, which has continued to the present time.
