Aloha Everybody

My name is Cody Nahalea. I was born and raised on the Island of Maui in town called Lahaina! As we all seen worldwide the Fire that took out my beautiful city has caused tremendous pain and heartaches for the one's who have lost, friends, family, homes- their LIVELIHOOD! The people you see in these pictures are my 'Ohana (one of the many families) that have lost it all. I'm blessed to know they all are safe. But are starting from the ground up.

For generations my 'Ohana has been pillars of this community stemming from my great great grandfather Rev. John Mahele Kukahiko, and to watch history and memories disintergrate in the matter of 2 hours is painful and heartbreaking to take in.

I'm utilizing this gofundme platform to help my Ohana generate the funds the needed which can start them off with basic necessities. They are starting from the ground up so theres alot that the money will go to being in this dire situation. This has been such a whirlwind of a change from what was once normalcy is now a thing of the past. Our hometown is an apocalyptic scene out of a movie, the living adjustment is surreal, and painful, and difficult.
