Please consider helping out Kurt McPhail's wife Kathy

My name is Carol King and I, with my Aunt Kathy's permission, have created this fundraiser. Losing my beloved Uncle Kurt has been heartbreaking to say the least. Our family has a giant void now where Kurt's giant heart used to be. He meant and did so much for our family and he will forever be missed. After his passing, so many people posted about how much Kurt helped them in one way or another. It's not easy to ask for help but when you need it, you need it and right now, Kurt's wife does. His unexpected passing came at a time when Kathy was not working. We are asking for your help for funeral expenses, legal fees and debts that Kathy cannot afford. She is actively looking for work but in the meantime, needs help to take care of herself and her three 4-legged family members. Any amount is appreciated and we thank you in advance.
Kurt McPhail
July 24, 1969 — July 9, 2024
Mulvane, Kansas
Kurt Riley McPhail passed away Tuesday, July 9th at 5:45pm at home with his Wife, Kathy McPhail, due to a sudden, unexpected and major cardiac arrest.
Kurt Riley McPhail was born and lived the majority of his life in Wichita, KS, with the latter years in Mulvane, KS. He was a devoted Husband and beloved Son, Brother and Friend to more than can be counted. He spent his free time in Mulvane with his soul-mate and love of his life, Kathy McPhail, who he met during the years he lived in San Diego, and their fur babies; Shelby, Parker and Lilly; their spoiled Huskies. The rest of his time was spent making every part of the world he touched a better place. His impact on those he touched and the love with which he affected so many cannot be understated. His impact on friends and loved ones will leave an enduring legacy that will stand the test of time. As an ordained Minister, he joined many hearts in matrimony and he was an equally binding force in the love and friendship of so many more. His passing has left many waking up to a world that is lesser due to his profound absence. He was and is deeply loved by many and his loss will be felt the rest of our days.
He was preceded in death by his younger Brother Jason. Kurt is survived by his older Sister, Julie; his parents, Norman McPhail and Liz Steele; and step-mother, Ruth. Family was HUGELY important to Kurt and he spent much of his time caring for his parents and loved ones. The world will never know another like Kurt McPhail.
