Kurtis Walton stroke help
Donation protected
Kurtis Walton is my son-in-law and suffered a TIA (transient ischemic attack). This can mimic stroke-like symptoms. The diagnosed condition was caused by a carotid artery dissection. A small tear of the inner lining of the carotid artery causing a blood clot. It is a common cause of stroke in people under the age of 50. The doctors have him on blood thinner medication and are watching his condition on a daily basis at home. He is self employed. He is unable to currently drive or return to his counseling practice and neurofeedback practice. The doctors have limited his activities for at least the next two weeks and will evaluate limited activity after that time. He is currently losing at least two weeks of his income.
Kurtis needs to pay rent on his office space, has their mortgage payment, and hospital and doctor expenses resulting from this condition. This is a situation that most people do not anticipate or plan for financially. He has a daughter in the first grade and this event happened during her first week of school. He wants to thank the Anchorage Waldorf School and staff for their support to make Kylie's first week of school successful. Also, their support to his wife, Misty.
Kurtis recognizes this life changing event. He is blessed for his life, his wonderful wife, friends, and family. He also thanks the Neurofeedback community for their kind words and support.
