Help! Lost everything in San Diego Flood Disaster!
Donation protected
My name is Kuwait Tanoi-Vaeono, and my sibling and her husband, and I recently lost our home and everything in it to a flooding on January 22nd, 2024 in San Diego, CA rendering us homeless. The county has declared it a local disaster and are only able to send relief in cleaning up the areas. However, we have lost all our possessions; clothes, beds, couches, appliances, food, etc. Everything is now a total loss due to water damages and because of the sewer line, it is now unsafe and deemed unsanitary - a health risk to us. It will take years for us to fully recover all that was lost. All our (both) vehicles were fully submerged and no longer operable, a total loss they say. The landlord unfortunately released us from our lease agreement but do not have anywhere else to accommodate us. We are now without a home or transportation. Please, your monetary help (however little or big) will allow us to move forward in securing a house and vehicle. We humbly ask for your monetary help.
My sister Taotafa Tanoi-Punefu is a 4 time stroke survivor with 65% brain damage. She requires 3 times dialysis a week and multitude of medications due to her muscle atrophy and weakness. All her medical equipment and medicines were lost and difficult to replace without the needed funding. She is a strong woman and a beautiful soul but due to this incident, it has taken a toll on her mental health and she is deteriorating fast. She needs reliable transportation to her numerous doctor’s appointments and dialysis. I also have a wonderful daughter, Isabella, and she’s a curious and smart brilliant 6 year old. As the only breadwinner of our small family, I kindly ask for help for funds so I can provide a safe environment and place for them that is not a shelter.
January 27th, 2024 marks one year since the passing of our mother and we are still reeling spiritually, emotionally, and financially to recover. Therefore, we are humbly reaching out to all souls and their compassionate natures for help! Please family and friends, we appreciate any financial help at this time. If possible, please forward our gofundme page to your family and friends that could help. From our hearts, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! May God Bless you all and please pray for us too!
