Support the street children in Iringa, Tanzania!
Donation protected
Habari! Karibu sana! How are you? Welcome! Welcome to Sisi Sote's GoFundMe page. In Swahili, the official language of the country of Tanzania, Sisi Sote means "We together". We are a foundation dedicated to underprivileged children in the town of Iringa in Tanzania. These children are mainly boys who live on the street. The reasons vary. Some children's parents have died. Other family members are too poor to take the boys in. Other children have run away from home voluntarily because of domestic violence, for example. Going back home was not an option for these children. A life on the street was better for them than living at home. Four of these children are lucky to live with us in our shelter. We are trying to make a difference for these children and those who are still living on the streets. We can't do this alone and your help is very much appreciated! Most of the costs for the basic necessities of life are paid out of our own pockets and therefore we are happy with any amount donated, no matter how small it may be!
With this crowdfunding we can buy
- food for the children who are still living on the streets of Iringa.
- sport materials - so we can organize sport activities for all children (Also the ones on the streets).
- carpentry materials & tools - to teach the children how to make furniture as a preparation to their independency and by selling furniture we can make our own income.
- some hens - by selling eggs we can make our own income for the shelter.
Asante sana! Thank you!
