The film follows a Filipino son, Alex, tries to escape the norms of traditional Filipino culture, pursuing a career in the Arts instead of becoming a nurse/doctor. Through the conflict between mother and son who wants to give Alex the best life so that he can provide for the family. With Bea, being by his side and also giving him the motivation to pursue a career in the arts, also helping her to gain the self-confidence to achieve her dreams also. It's a heartfelt story that touches the viewers at home as it is a journey that most of us have done.

My name is Tyrell Espiritu and I am here talking to you today about a film that is very near and dear to my heart and speaks to the personal journey that I am currently facing as of now. A story that focuses on the Mother-son relationship and the conflict, struggles, and pressures that I have to live off as an older brother of two. As well as finding a gain of self-confidence and relief from family pressures.

Coming from an Asian-Immigrant family in Australia, I was raised differently than the other kids at school. I still had the freedom, but not enough.. over time as I got older, I got that sense of freedom but...Still chained by responsibilities, expectations, and pressures from my parents. Instead of choosing a viable career that makes a decent amount, I choose something that doesn't seem like a viable source of income.

It is okay and normal to be stuck and confused after graduating. To pursue a passion that YOU love and not what others want from you—targeting those currently struggling with self-acceptance, family drama, and high pressure from those around them.

But WE require your assistance! I'm willing to help this passion project come to life along with this incredible team. And that's where you guys come in; with the proper funding, we'll be able to secure our locations, obtain the necessary permits, and even provide our incredible crew with delicious catering!

Regardless of how much the fee is. Depending on how considerate and helpful you guys are! You'll play a part in making my story come to life.I do intend to submit this to festivals as well; you will always have my gratitude and thanks, and you will be acknowledged in it.
