20 for 20

Hello Washburn,
Homecoming 2020 is fast approaching! You may not be aware, but the city only contributes $5,000 to the homecoming fund. This is typically used to pay for the fireworks. The parade alone is estimated to cost around $10,000. We must also provide porta potties and trash collection among other needs. For this reason we are starting the 20 for 20 campaign.
We are asking for a minimum 1,000 Washburnites or others to contribute $20 so we can reach our goal of $20,000. So let's all like, share, and send this off to as many folks, past and present, as possible.
A breakdown of our needs is as follows:
Advertising/Printing-$1,500
Fireworks-$5,000
Entertainment-$6,200
Live Music-$2,500
Inflatables-$3,200
Tent Rentals-$500
Parade-$10,000
Clown Band-$600
Thunder Bay Pipes and Drums-$1,400
AAD Shrine-$1,000
Marty's Goldenaires-$1,200
Gogebic Range Band-$700
Transportation, Shirts & Fees for area HS bands- $1,000
Waste Management-$1,800
Porta Potties-$2,500
Other misc expenses-$2,000
Insurance-$1,000
Show your Washburn and Castleguard pride! If you can't donate $20, any amount will help us reach our goal.
