Volunteering at Little Roses School in Ghana

Hi everyone, my name is Alice and I am 17 and am raising money for my trip to Ghana to volunteer at Little Roses School in July 2023.

Little Roses is a school in the Volta region of Ghana which receives very little funding from the government. Little Roses is located in an area in which poverty is heavily prevalent and so many children are forced to go straight into work rather than stay in education. Little Roses aims to encourage more children to stay in education.

The school lacks some basic equipment like textbooks and desks which we take for granted. And so as a school we are hoping to raise enough money to take some of these facilities over with us to donate to the school.

Whilst there, I will help to teach lessons, coach sports, and build facilities for the school. I hope to make a lasting difference and provide them with equipment that they benefit from long into the future.

Any donations would be much appreciated and 100% of all donations will go to funding this trip.
