He was a remarkable friend. Dan was a hardworking and beloved member of our Charlotte community who tragically passed away, leaving behind his wife and newborn son. Dan was a dedicated husband and father, beloved uncle to eight nieces and nephews, a loving dog dad, and a cherished leader and co-owner of Wooden Robot, where he poured his heart and soul into his work and his beer.

Dan Wade was more than just a skilled brewer providing beer to the Charlotte Community; he was the backbone of his family, providing love, support, and stability. His passion for his craft was evident in every pint that came from Wooden Robot, and his warm personality left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. He leaves behind his loving wife, and their beautiful newborn son.

The sudden loss of Dan has left the Wade family facing not only the emotional turmoil of grief, but also the financial challenges. The family is now grappling with funeral expenses, outstanding bills, and the daunting prospect of providing for their future.

*** Increased goal on 2/22/24 to provide additional support and hire a night nurse during this period of grieving to assist Dan's wife and newborn son, who joined their family on New Year's Day.

- Funeral Expenses: Provide financial relief for the costs associated with Dan Wade’s funeral and memorial services.

- Immediate Bills: Assist the family in covering immediate bills, including utilities, rent/mortgage, and other essential expenses.
