Welcoming Refugees

It is hard to see people suffer and struggle. For many of us, our parents/grandparents have avoided persecution and come to the US to find a better life. As a community, we want to make that happen for another family.

We are supporting an initiative to bring a refugee family to this country through an established program called https://welcomecorps.org/ welcoming Ukrainians and many others persecuted in their countries.

With our collective knowledge, we are confident in our abilities to provide financial, emotional and community support for the family and then some during their first 3 months in our country, but we need some help.

We are looking to raise $10,000 to cover expenses, with the bulk going toward housing-related expenses. If you can consider a donation, we would be grateful for any contributions. The family of 4 can come once we receive 60% of our goal!
