Little Luca

Hi, my name is Maree Rogers and normally I would NEVER do anything like this. With that being said, my grandson Luca Ruiz is very sick. He started running a fever Wednesday and developed a rash on his body. His parents took him to the Emergency room at Scottish Rite and he was admitted. After numerous test the Infectious disease team diagnosed him with Kawasakis disease. He’s had a fever since Wednesday it will go down but will not go away. He is on oxygen to help him breathe easier, he has an NG tube giving him breast milk. He tries to nurse but his lips are swollen and cracked and very sore. He is miserable. He had a heart scan and so far is heart is showing no signs of distress. Thank god. But his Mom and Dad have been with him constantly. Hannah has NO PTO left at her job. She used it all while having him and staying with him for 6 weeks. They are not gonna leave the hospital without their baby. So any help would be appreciated. The hospital bills are gonna be outrageous. He has insurance but a high deductible. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for any help you can give.
