My name is Chandra Macias Hill and I'm Jill Allen's niece (Lucille's eldest daughter). We started this Go Fund Me page with the intent to help Jill's family with the associated costs of her untimely passing.
Jill lived for her family, committed to her marriage and her children, she took in and provided for her elderly mother. She encouraged each of her family members to achieve their full potential taking nothing for herself. She provided an excellent example pursuing her higher education while working fill time and juggling family responsibilities. She seemed tireless until she became ill.
Her spirit will live on in all the lives she touched.
As you may know, Auntie Jill suffered more than her share of health problems, not the least of which included a kidney transplant and cancer, among others. Auntie Jill was a fighter her whole life, but was dealt a tough hand. We are hoping that her friends and family can help us remember her through this fund. Proceeds will be use to cover medical costs and memorial related expenses.
The services are scheduled for early next week, so we have a very short window to raise the funds. As someone who was touched by Jill's warmth, sense of humor and kindess, I'm hopeful that we can return just a small fraction of what she gave to us and honor her with a donation.
We know that there are so many demands of everyday life, but we are hopeful and thankful that you've taken the time to consider helping out. No donation is too small and you can choose to donate anonomously.
Thank you.
