Kwanda, Kamani & Sean Home Fire Relief
Donation protected
On Saturday, November 28, Kwanda, Kamani, and Sean's apartment burned.
Sean handled the crisis with strength and bravery, however, the effects of the fire put him in the ICU. He is recovering well. Thankfully, Kamani was out of harm's way at a friend's house when the fire broke out.
Kwanda is focused on Sean's recovery right now, but she needs her community to start thinking about what comes next for their family. They lost nearly everything in the fire, including Christmas presents under the tree.
At this time, Kwanda's family needs financial support. If you are able, please make a donation to help them get back on their feet after this difficult event. All donations will go directly to Kwanda and the children.

12/8 UPDATE: The family received keys to a temporary apartment today! This is great news as it allows them to leave the hotel and begin rebuilding a home. However, since all of their belongings were lost in the fire, this is a huge undertaking. There is an Amazon List for those that would like to purchase needed items or replace gifts that were lost from under the tree: https://www.amazon.com/registries/custom/G1KSOFP7O94C/guest-view If you have furniture or other items to donate, please complete this form: https://forms.gle/F8BfKaoiXVCGynuW7
Kwanda is so very grateful to you all for your support during this intense time. I echo her gratitude. As our country and world face such a challenging time, I am uplifted by the power of compassionate people coming together to support one another. Thank you all for being who you are! You make the world a better place! Especially for Kwanda, Kamani & Sean!
