Volunteering in Malawi!

My name is Gloria Carbajosa Carballo, I am 18 years old and I finished my A-levels at Peter Simmonds college in June. I have decided to take a gap year so I can go away and volunteer with an educational charity called Project Trust based in Scotland. I will be departing in January and my placement will be in Malawi. My role will be teaching English to kids in Nanze primary school and I hope that by the end of my 8 month placement I will have learnt many new skills and helped as much as I can, I hope to learn a lot from the community as it's a once in a lifetime experience. I also hope to be able to make a change and positively impact some of the kids' lives. To be able to do so, I have to fundraise £6,850. I am actively sending letters to trusts, asking for donations from my family and saving up money from work and by doing this I have nearly raised half of my target. Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
