Update: Your generosity has been overwhelming. Although Jessie’s condition has remained unchanged, hope springs eternal. We continue to pray for her care team and those that are sitting patiently and loyally by her bedside at Penn Hospital. We pray for Jessie’s comfort, Karen’s continued strength and for Jack who is missing his mom at home. We pray for guidance for John Gillen with whom Jessie shares her son. Please continue to think positively as we enter this week in the hope that science can provide more answers and give us a glimpse of what the future may hold for Jessie’s recovery. Thank you for your contributions both spiritually and monetarily. What a wonderful source of support you are! Xoxox
Here at Pic A Lilli, we call our guests family. As such, we are reaching out to ask for your support in this time of great need. On January 12th, our Jessica went to the Penn Hospital for a procedure to clip an aneurysm. Although the surgery went well, complications ensued. She suffered a severe stroke, resulting in her going into a coma. A vital part of the brain controlling essential functions has been affected. The road ahead is uncertain and your generosity is appreciated.
Jessica has a 7 year old son with special needs, named Jack. Jack uses an iPad to communicate and requires additional resources after school. In addition to her beloved son, so many of us depend on Jessie.
Being a bartender, Jessie relied heavily on the tips she made to help pay her bills and help her son, Jack, receive the support he needed. Because the future is unknown for Jessie and the therapies she may need, working is not an option. These donations will help ease the burden and worry for Jessie and her family.
Whether it’s tending bar at the Pic A Lilli, operating her foodtruck at local events or her responsibilities as a mom and daughter, her absence can be felt throughout our lives. Surely, our patrons are missing her sass and smile.
Your prayers and monetary donations are appreciated.
