In January 2023 our very own Lydia Luciano (our amazing cleaning guru) was diagnosed with Liposarcoma. This is an aggressive cancer that her team at Roswell Park determined needed to be fought immediately and aggressively. Lydia accepted the Dr’s plan of treatment and is now on a journey to fight for her life.

So far Lydia has battled through 4 rounds of Chemotherapy, each round lasting a grueling 5 consecutive days. Lydia completed her chemotherapy regimen on April 23rd, 2023!!!!!!!!! Yay Lydia we are so happy for You!!!! Congratulations!!!!

On May 31st, 2023 Lydia began the next battle of treatment- Radiation. Lydia is now working on week 4 of 5 consecutive weeks of radiation treatment with 5 days on and only two days off. We all know how strong Lydia is so we know she can fight this battle, but it is not an easy battle.

I know everyone is praying for Lydia, so many have sent cards and gifts, she is so grateful to everyone! Please continue praying and sending good vibes her way!

So many more have asked- what else can we do for Lydia we want to help? Up until now Lydia refused monetary gifts of any kind, but the truth is our proud and strong warrior Lydia does need our help.

This hard working family is holding it together, but financially it is starting to take a toll. Lydia’s devoted husband ¬¬Nelson has been by her side throughout her courageous battle. Lydia receives only a fraction of her regular income while on disability, Nelson is retired and they are beginning to fall on hard times. The time has come for all of us to show Lydia, Nelson and her family how much she means to all of us, how much we appreciate her friendship, her professionalism, how often she has gone the extra mile for us and least of all for putting up with us!
