A drunk driver hit us head on in Newton, Alabama 9/28/2017. It has been such a long journey for us and are still dealing with physical affects from the accident due to infection that keeps coming back. I just had my 9th surgery on May 20th, 2022 to put new hip implants, new hip joint and rebuild hip and pelvis. It was a very difficult surgery for surgeon to do and one of the most painful surgeries I can remember!! Praying infection doesn't come back again!! I haven't worked since September 2021 which was my 8th surgery due to infection and hip implants had to be removed and spacer with antibiotics put in hip area. I went on short term disability and after 12 wks rolled over to long term disability. I lost my job for the 2nd time January 2022 due to exhausting my FMLA time. My employer Ruoff Home Mortgage went above and beyond to help me get prepared for unemployment. I had to keep insurance through Cobra due to surgery I was having on May 10, 2022. As we know cobra insurance is very expensive and for us is $660.00 a month It has been a struggle keeping up with all the bills due to my monthly short term pay being lower than my salary I was earning and having extra $660.00 bill we now have to pay for me to have insurance coverage. I wanted to explain what is going on why the struggle is there to pay all the bills, groceries, rent, gas etc. and why I am asking for help which I hated asking for I filed for SSI disbility in November 2021 and they are still working on gathering all medical documentation needed to make a decision. Any amount will help and is very much appreciated!! I want to thank you for your help in advance !!! If your not able to help I understand and have also not always been able to help others myself so please don't feel bad. I also want to thank those that have already helped me financially in the past 5 yrs. Thank you all for your love ❤️ and support ❤️ I have the most amazing family and friends ❤️
