KY STRONG- Support the Larkin Family

Hi! My name is Ashley Knapp and I have created this page for a very special family, the Larkins. Megan Larkin is one of my best friends and we met back in 2018 over a mutual love of.. well, that's a story for another day. But the rest is history. I've been taking her family photos since then too and I will never forget meeting her kids for the first time- they truly the best kids ever and I love them all to pieces. Megan and Brock Larkin would (and do!!) literally anything for anyone and their kids are the exact same. Which is why we all need to come together now, to help them in their greatest time of need. Their oldest daughter Ky, star soccer player and wrestler, one of the sweetest and funniest and toughest kids I know, was just diagnosed with brain cancer. Its so hard to even type those words. After a hospital stay, MRI, and a brain biopsy just before Christmas, Ky was officially diagnosed with Germinoma- a rare form of brain cancer (that also affects her central nervous system and her adrenal functions) that will need chemotherapy and possibly radiation as well. They will be going downtown to Lurie Children's Hospital for all of her treatment. It's going to be a tough 2024 for this family with a lot of missed work, medical bills, gas/food/parking expenses during treatment and more. Never in a million years would they ask for help, but if you are reading this I know you love this family as much as I do and are here because you want to support and love them as they navigate the coming months.
