KYHU BASKETBALL CAMP 10th Anniversary Celebration

Youth sports offer enormous benefits to kids. No one would argue against the fact that playing on a team helps build self-esteem, teaches leadership skills, relieves stress and offers a great form of exercise. We have been lucky to have KYHU (KEEP YOUR HEAD UP) basketball camp  provide all of these opportunities to our kids and more.  For  10 years children throughout New York City have played basketball with KYHU. KYHU’s basketball programs have benefited more than 200 kids - creating healthy opportunities for boys and girls to learn more about basketball and more about themselves. KYHU is committed to providing highly supportive, skills-based programs where kids will not only thrive in the sport but will also make lasting friendships, and grow a lasting love for the game.


But running a sports organization isn’t cheap. Whether it’s a travel team, youth club or summer camp there are enormous costs involved.  Purchasing things like jerseys, equipment, insurance and securing space to play which are quite high   and KYHU needs financial help!  We are reaching out to friends, family members, basketball fans, community activists and all those who care about the future of our children to help us reach our goal. 

Every year on the last day of Camp. KYHU has a celebration party for everyone to participate in. This years celebration marks 10 years and will be on August 24,2019.
