Please help us get transportation and a new home.

Hello, my name is Kyle and I am starting this fundraiser for myself and my wife Terri's benefit. Last month, Terri was hospitalized twice for a severe infection which caused her kidneys to go into severe shock.

Terri is still in the hospital. Last week, she backslid and suffered a major setback and was moved back into the ICU due to respiratory issues and a pulmonary arrhythmia. She will likely need dialysis either before she is released or sometime in the near future. Through all of this, I have been hanging on by a thread trying to keep everything together. Unfortunately, this week disaster struck and pushed everything to the brink. I have been at the hospital daily since the end of August. Last Monday evening, on the way home from the hospital, my car died and it's going to cost more than it's worth to fix. On top of all of this, I have been fighting an eviction in court due to a landlord that refuses to honor our original verbal agreement. As my primary income is as a caregiver for my wife, I haven't worked in almost two months. I was supplementing my income by driving for DoorDash; however, the loss of my vehicle makes even this impossible now. I have exhausted all other options for financing a newer used car, and without money down and no foreseeable income currently, I have run out of options and we will likely be vehicle-less and homeless sometime in October. Our next court date is October 1st, so I will likely get a definitive time frame then. I know times are tough for everyone right now, but even if you can't help monetarily, I just ask that you share this with your friends to help me reach as many people as possible.
