Kyle - HELP TO RAISE ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT

Kyle was diagnosed, with Ulcerative Colitis nearly 2 years ago which has now evolved into severe Pan Colitis which is a life changing diagnosis. He has attempted all treatment options. Currently, he is attempting Skyrizi as it was just approved for UC. He has failed all other standard of care treatment options. He continues to be in and out of hospitals and medical bills are piling up. Despite all treatment to date, Kyle has not responded enough to go into remission.

Kyle needs to return to Mayo Clinic in Minnesota the beginning of October. Additionally, we just located a facility who is willing to do HBOT, hyperbaric oxygen treatment which is not covered under insurance for UC. However, it is a minimally invasive procedure. The next step if this treatment fails is a life chaning surgery and a life filled with ongoing challenges and potential complications. The Mayo Clinic is the number 1 hospital in the country to treat GI conditions in Rochester, MN. He is also treating with Mass General, and has been undergoing infusions of Skyrizi and will start HBOT treatment not covered by insurance.

If all else fails Kyle will then be revisiting with his surgeon again to discuss surgical intervention.

It appears that Kyle may require surgery after all which will involve a minimum of 2 to 3 surgeries. The goal is for surgery to be the last resort.
