Kyle Shannon's Medical Fund

Donation protected
Hi, my husband Scott and I have taken it upon ourselves to create an account in hopes to save the life of our amazing friend Kyle Hank Shannon. To quote a coworker of Kyles “You have a gift and the ability to brighten the days of everyone you interact with. Your caring personality, smile, and infectious laughter are qualities that make you, you.” That being said I implore you to donate to our gofundme as soon as possible.

Helping someone who has selflessly devoted his life to helping others is such a rewarding thing. Please use this gofund me to get to know our friend, understand his passion, connect with his love of life and possibly, hopefully help him through the most difficult thing he has ever faced. Please, help our friend Kyle.
I know, this is a lot of information and you might not want to read it all but please, take the time to do so, when you do you will get to know a glimps of a person whos love for life and willingness to help others NEEDS you, NEEDS help and will use this gift of life to continue serving and helping people who need him.

Throughout his life he has always been pushed towards serving people and fighting for what is truly right. Sine we have known him he has had two true passions in life; Kokondo and helping others. His love for martial arts and Kokondo has no words. He truly lives his life using the codes of Bushido and his goals, aspirations, actions and thoughts revolve around this guideline. I am positive if he hadn’t started getting sick he would be present at every seminar, every lesson and every training session he could possibly attend.

He has worn many hats throughout his life; a son, a brother, a friend, a student, a personal trainer, a Sensei, an activist, a shoe salesman, and is currently employed at and trying his hardest to be working at a low paying nonprofit. I say trying because he has been on medical leave for several months. At his job he administrates as an intake specialist connecting those in need to vital resources. This includes; youth of all ages, families and adults. So in our eyes, he is a modern day Robin Hood (rather than taking from the rich, he uses the world to his advantage to help those who can’t do it themselves).

Here is why we are writing this, Kyle began getting sick about four years ago. He began this decline with little answers, just a life of debilitating symptoms. They originally diagnosed him with pituitary adenoma which cut his body’s ability to produce testosterone. As they were trying to cure/fix this more severe symptoms appeared. This included but was not limited to chronic hypertension and multiple cases of hypertensive emergency. This prompted to doctors to look at his adrenal glands a little closer, there they found an irregular shaped tumor (this took YEARS for them to find). All the doctors believed there was a high chance of adrenal cancer and chronic severe hypertension. Sadly, he was recently tested and has stage 3 adrenal cancer which includes the noncancerous adenoma on his pituitary gland. That all being said he needs to start radiation therapy and possibly chemo as soon as possible to fight this cancer.

Kyle has many family members and friends that are doing everything they can to help but with his recent diagnosis it just isn’t enough and we need help, he needs your help! He has been very sick and although he tries his hardest to go to work he is physically unable to do so at this point. He is currently behind on his rent and the landlord is trying to evict him. He lives in Washington and doesn’t have a place to move there and because of his landlord he is on the verge of being homeless. We are hoping you can help, with anything, our friend needs you. Like I said before helping someone who has selflessly devoted his life to helping others is such a rewarding thing. Kyle has been Scott’s best friend since I have known Scott and we want to help him in any way we can, he is our family, and I beg you to donate to his gofundme. Not only will your donation be used to help our friend in his time of need, it truly could save his life.

We appricaite you and our friend Kyle Hank Shannon will truly be gratefull for anything you can do to help. Thank you so much for reading this and thank you, in advance for all of the shares, comments and donations.
