Kyle Sliker & Family

Hi, my name is Amanda, and I am looking for donations for my dear friend, Jessica (Alberico, now Sliker), her husband, Kyle, and the light of their lives, their 2 yr old son Miles. Originally from Erie, PA, but planted roots in Rock Hill, SC, Jessica and Kyle returned to Erie for a visit in early July 2022 to spend time with family and friends and have Miles baptized. What was supposed to be a 2-week visit has now turned into an indefinite stay for the time being.

On the morning of July 15th, Kyle was unresponsive and unable to be woken up; he was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where he now remains, recovering from 3 emergency brain surgeries to save his life. Kyle was recently diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and had been awaiting his BiPAP machine to be sent to him. The doctors say Kyle's severe sleep apnea, amongst other medical factors, caused him to be without oxygen for an extended period, causing brain damage, which led to life-saving surgeries to help reduce the pressure and fluids on his brain. Between the untreated sleep apnea and other medical conditions, it led to the "perfect storm," which has led to Kyle's current state. Kyle is no longer sedated and has yet to wake up; however, he shows some positive signs. If there is one thing we know about Kyle, we know he is a fighter and how much he loves his wife and son, and we know he will not give up the fight to return to his loves.

I ask that you please help this family in their time of need. Please send them all the love, positive vibes, light, and prayers. All donations will help alleviate this unfortunate, unexpected tragedy's financial burdens on the Sliker family.
